Holy Monastery of Gregoriou

The miraculous icon of Panagia Odigetria, also called Pantanassa, was dedicated to the Monastery in 1497 and is associated with many miracles. During the fire of 1761, when the temple of the Monastery was destroyed by fire, only this icon remained unharmed, without even its colors being damaged by the heat of the fire.
