We peel the tomatoes.
We chop the onions, tomatoes and garlic.
In a small saucepan, we add some oil and the onion to wilt.
Then we add the tomato, garlic and a little water.
At the same time, we melt the tuna with a fork.
When they are half boiled, we add the tuna.
We add salt, a little cinnamon, pepper and a little sugar (if the tomatoes are sour).
We let it boil on low heat, until it sets well and its juices are saved.
Meanwhile, we have boiled our spaghetti.
After straining our spaghetti, we put a little oil in a Pyrex and pour it over.
We pour the sauce on top and mix if you want.
If we are not fasting from dairy products, we can put butter on the spaghetti instead of oil and then sprinkle some cheese.
If we want, we can add grated nutmeg to the sauce.
Also, we can add some capers for extra flavor.
We can make the recipe with whatever type of pasta we prefer.
