Chickpeas with lemon sauce

We soak our chickpeas from the previous night with 2 tbsp. salt.
The next morning we drain them well.
In a pot, we put the chickpeas with hot water and soda.
We let them come to a boil.
We strain them, rinse them and place them in hot water.
We rub them well, to remove their skins.
We put the chickpeas in a pot with the same amount of water.
At the same time, we have grated the onions and mashed our peppers.
We add them to the pot with the chickpeas along with a little oil.
We let them boil.
A few minutes before they are done, we add salt.
Before serving, we add plenty of lemon juice.
The food can be made unoiled, we just omit the oil.
We can put whatever color of pepper we have in our kitchen.
