Execution Method

We put all the ingredients of the dough in a bowl and make a pliable dough that doesn't stick to our hands.

We let the dough rest a little and prepare the filling. We put all the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix very well.

We roll out the dough into a sheet with the rolling pin and cut the dough into circular disks with a cutter or a glass.

We slightly around each disk and we put 1 dessertspoon of filling.

We fold each disc to form a crescent and lightly we press the joints with a fork.

We bake the skaltsounia in a baking tray with greaseproof paper at 180 degrees for about half an hour.

When they are ready, we moisten them slightly with a little flower water and sprinkle them with cinnamon and baking powder.
