Grape must pudding
During the fast, the monks used to make grape must pudding . It is a dessert which is easy tasty and at the same time very nutritious. This dessert is ideal for fasting as it provides the monks with the proper energy during fasting. But this does not mean that we can't consume it during the whole year.
We put the must in a pan to simmer.
We put the water in a bowl and dissolve the starch well without leaving lumps.
We pour the starch mixture into the pan and stir constantly with a whisk.
When it thickens, we pour the contents into a ovenproof dish or into individual bowls.
We garnish with sesame, nuts and cinnamon.
For a better result we can roast the sesame.
