In the Hilandarian cell in the Karies of Agios Savvas, known as Typikario, is the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary Galaktotrofousa. Paradoxically, this icon was placed by Saint Savvas Nemania, the founder of the cell, in the place of the icon of Christ, that is, to the right and not to the left of the 'orea Pili( main gate of the church).
On the left was placed the icon of the Lord. According to tradition, this icon existed in the Monastery of Sabbas the Sanctified outside Jerusalem from the time of its Founder.
He prophesied to his surrounding his deathbed, the future visit of the namesake of the king of Serbia and asked to be given this icon as a blessing, as well as his walking stick and the icon of Tricheroussa, which he received during his visit there.
