The Virgin Mary of the Lilies is also called Virgin Mary Gravelotissa because of the way in which the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary was found in Pastra, Kefalonia. Every fifteenth of August, together with the feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, the miracle of the flowering of dried lilies takes place. The icon comes with a free stand.
