Mary of Vladimir Serigraph on Wood

It is a fine serigraph icon of Panagia Vladimir, i.e. Virgin Mary of Vladimir. The theme is inspired by the original icon, made by Luke the Evangelist, which is one of the well known miraculous icons connected to the Russian people. The iconography has been carried out by devoted monks of Mount Athos, following the rich tradition of Orthodox iconography. A copy of this serene synthesis is placed in a gold-toned background and printed on grooved artificial wood. Dimensions: 12.5 X 10 cm / 4.92 X 3.94 in.
