This fine oval icon of Saint Olga is depicted in accordance to the tradition of Orthodox iconography. A lithograph copy is placed on artificial wood, the upper side has a curved shape adds a touch of elegance.
This Saint was queen of Russia and through Holy Baptism she received the name Helen. When she visited Byzantium with her retinue, she was warmly received for her devotion to Christianity. In her struggle for faith, she lived until 969 AD, when she died. Her memory is celebrated every year on July 11.
