This fine oval icon of Saint Nina is depicted in accordance to the tradition of Orthodox iconography. A lithograph copy is placed on artificial wood, whose arched top adds a touch of elegance.
Saint Nina was born in Cappadocia in 296 AD. Following the divine guidance of the Virgin Mary, he traveled to Iberia to spread the Gospel. There he discovered the tunic of Christ and founded the Church of Saint Stylos. She died in peace, and her incorruptible remains are a sacred treasure. It celebrates on January 14.
