Saint Martha - Lithography on Wood

This fine oval icon of Saint Mary Martha is depicted in accordance to the tradition of Orthodox iconography. A lithograph copy is placed on artificial wood, whose arched top adds a touch of elegance.
Saint Martha and Saint Maria together with their brother Lazarus, were for the Lord Jesus Christ the most beloved and holy family of Bethany. The two sisters faithfully served the first Christian Church and died peacefully. The memory of Saint Martha is celebrated on June 4.
