Silver-Plated Icon Virgin Mary Hodegetria on Black Wood 18x21cm

The icon of the Panagia Hodegetria (Virgin Mary Hodegetria) is one of the miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary preserved on Mount Athos. This icon miraculously disappeared from the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi and was found at the Holy Monastery of Xenophontos. Its relocation was due to the will of the Most Holy Theotokos (Mother of God). She is the protector of cancer patients and women facing difficulties in childbirth.
