This fine oval icon of Saints Julitta and Cyricus is depicted in accordance to the tradition of Orthodox iconography. A lithograph copy is placed on artificial wood, whose arched top adds a touch of elegance.
Saint Julitta, originally from Iconium in Asia Minor, lived in the years of Diocletian. During the persecutions, she fled with her son, Cyricus, to Tarsus, where, after being arrested, they were severely tortured and martyred for their faith. Their memory is commemorated on July 15.
