Experience the sanctity of Red Sweet Monastic Wine. It is a sweet red wine of "Cahor" type (called "N?ma" in Greek) used for Eucharist. The monks from Simonopetra Monastery in Mount Athos cultivate Asyrtiko and Madilaria grapes, which are sundried before pressing to make this Communion wine that presents a content of 8.0 % Vol in alcohol.

Packed in 375 ml / 12.68 fl oz bottles.

Benefits: This wine boasts inherent beneficiary properties, reflecting the monks' commitment to purity, since several studies have shown that red wine is rich in resveratrol, a polyphenol that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, that may discourage cancer s to grow. It may also help reduce plaque buildup in arteries, thus contributing to a healthy heart.

Serving Tips: Delight in its rich sweetness, velvety texture, and the heavenly notes that linger on the palate. It is a perfect choice for Communion or as a dessert drink. Serve this Nama chilled, enhancing its divine characteristics, or you may serve it cool (150 - 180 C / 550 - 650 F) accompanying fresh fruit plates, sweet and medium cheese platters, or various desserts, such as our monastic Greek bergamot or lemon preserve in thick syrup.
