An aromatic blend of herbs produced by Greek orthodox monks at the Holy Monastery of Simonopetra here on Mount Athos.
This natural blend is beneficial for its warming, diaphoretic and anti-flu properties. In the summer, it is placed in the refrigerator and used as a refreshing drink. The herb mixture contains basil, rosemary, dittany, mint, purple coneflower, thyme, lemon verbena, marjoram, lemon balm, mint, oregano, stevia, hyssop, sage, silver linden.
The procedure for making a tea infusion is as follows:
1. Boil water
2. Remove the water from the fire.
3. Add the herb to the hot water.
4. Cover and let the decoction stand for 7-10 minutes.
5. Strain (if necessary) and drink.
